French Canadian singer Celine Dion addressing a sold-out crowd in Paris on Saturday during her first full concert in six years. The concert marked the start of her 16-show residency at the Plenitude, the largest indoor arena in Europe.
Dion’s return to the stage comes nearly four years after the singer announced she had stiff-person syndrome, a rare and incurable neurological disorder. Describing how it affects her voice, she told NBC’s Hoda Kotb in 2024: “It’s like somebody is strangling you.”
In a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Dion described preparing for her Paris shows through intensive rehabilitation, Pilates and ballet.
