⭐️ QUOTE TO START YOUR WEEK:
“You truly are making our dreams come true.”
Banana Ball founder Jesse Cole, addressing 41,000 fans Saturday at a sold-out Nationals Park in Washington D.C. for the league’s first championship game — the Banana Bowl. Advertised as “the greatest show in sports,” the fan-focused Banana Ball game combines baseball with acrobatics, theatrics, crowd participation — and even alternate rules. The Texas Tailgaters became the first-ever Banana Bowl champions, defeating the Savannah Bananas 2-1.
One of many star-studded appearances was by a cappella group Pentatonix, which sang the national anthem prior to the game — accompanied by a flyover of F-35 fighter jets from Florida’s Eglin Air Force Base.
