Friends,
Today we release a special report unlike any other interview we have shared over the last 8 years of SmartHER News. It's a special report with origins not in a tense press briefing in New York City, but on the sidelines of a child’s flag football game in Texas.
A bit of the backstory here ⬇️
The following interview offers a departure from our typical news coverage at SmartHER News. But it feels right for this moment. I am curious to hear what you think as well.
I’m writing this note from an airplane — heading to my hometown to memorialize my father.
I am so grateful for your love and support as I have navigated the last few weeks. Behind the scenes, we had several things happening at once — a complicated “remodel” of our Insider program (we announced it this week), an unprecedented production project (the report you’re about to see), and unfortunately, some personal news that I did not expect — the passing of my father (you can watch my reflection on this news and read his obituary here).
